Even ghosts do laundry washing themselves in lavender and hanging themselves to dry while the wind has its way with them your eyes through the hedge counted among the dead waiting for your shroud to soak up the smell of sunshine there there go to the light
Author’s note: hedges are a symbol of the liminal realm between worlds as they serve for the border between properties. This is why I chose this symbol for the ghost I imagine watching me hang laundry in my yard. I like to include these authors notes to give you a peek into the writing process.
